On behalf of the Organizing Committee we welcome you to this website for the XV National Congress of the Spanish Society of Histology and Tissue Engineering (SEHIT) which this year also reaches its 3rd edition as an International Congress.

 

The SEHIT has granted us the trust and responsibility of hosting this year’s Congress. We consider this to be a great challenge, especially given the Society’s prestige and long history coupled with the high level of the previous editions of the Congress.

 

The Organisers, as qualified professionals in the fields of investigation and teaching, wish to offer  the best possible framework and atmosphere to those teachers, investigators and investigation groups wishing to attend the Congress. In this way you will encounter the best ways for discussing the results of recent investigations as well as the sharing of pedagogical experiences which all help to improve our teaching and learning environment in the field of Histology.

 

Our venue will be the University of Castilla-La Mancha’s Faculty of Medicine in Albacete. This faculty is one of the most recently created within the Spanish system. With its 10 years of progress it offers a solid international scientific and teaching atmosphere. This fact coupled with some ideal spaces perfect for a congress with these characteristics will go to providing our meeting with the maximum possible level and impact. University

 

The city of Albacete and its surroundings of Castilla-La Mancha welcome this SEHIT Congress with the same warmth, enthusiasm and dedication as they do any other similar initiatives. The Albacete and Castilla-La Mancha society, represented by public and private institutions, promotes and sponsors this Congress with maximum interest, giving value to scientific advancements and higher education which act as engines for growth and improvement. Moreover, the Congress participants will discover that Albacete and its surroundings have much to offer in the way of culture, leisure and nature, often leaving many pleasantly surprised. It goes without saying that during the Congress you will have the opportunity to sample this offer with the programmed social activities. However, we also encourage you to stay on a few days more, agendas permitting, to enjoy the surprises that this area has to offer to those with an inquisitive spirit which is, after all, one of the typical characteristics of a scientist.
